Electronic waste is a growing concern, and it can be challenging to dispose of these items responsibly. Now you can bid farewell to those old gadgets, obsolete chargers, and unused electronic devices cluttering your drawers.

Acceptable electronic items include

• Computers and printers

• Console games

• Video audio players/equipment

• Intact TVs

• Most appliances (like microwaves)

• Most items powered by a cord or battery

• Also accepted are lead acid batteries, wire, and metal.

No compressors, PCB containing items (ballast), and various hazardous materials.

Paper shredding

• Personal documents only

• No plastic bags, binder clips, metal, or binders.

Every year in the Fall, the intrepid citizens of Audubon prepare for winter hibernation by clearing out their dens, attics, garages and basements. It’s time for another town-wide Yard Sale!

Our Fall event takes place on Saturday September 30th from 8am to 2pm. We usually have between 150 and 200 households participating, and shoppers travel from all over South Jersey and Philadelphia to pick up bargains.

Our rain date is Sunday October 1st, 8am to 2pm.

Seller permit fee $10 - proceeds benefit the Audubon Celebration Committee, and funds are used for Audubon Day, the 4th of July Parade, and other local events.

Deadline for inclusion in our Yard Sale Map is Thursday September 28th at midnight. You may still register up until 8am on Saturday, but you will not be included on the map if you register after midnight on Thursday.

Yard Sale maps will be published on the Friday before the event by 2pm.

Permit info: Audubon borough ordinances require a permit for all yard sales. For the two yearly town-wide events, the borough allows the Audubon Celebration Committee to collect fees as a fundraiser for the events we organize throughout the year, including Audubon Day, the 4th of July parade, and Halloween and Holiday decorating contests.

We will promote the event through social media, all yard sale/garage sale websites, and by placing yard signs around town. Our volunteers work hard to make the event a success!
