Sustainable Audubon
We encourage sustainable use of Audubon’s resources through education, outreach, and community collaboration.
Mission
We are a group of dedicated residents pursuing environmental awareness and sustainability within Audubon Borough. Through Sustainable Jersey, a state non-profit organization that provides tools, training and financial incentives to support communities as they pursue sustainability programs, we began the effort to become Bronze certified in 2018. We received a grant from PSE&G and achieved Bronze certification in November 2019. We were also honored as “Rookie of the Year” for the State of New Jersey and as “Camden County Sustainability Champion” in 2019!
Meetings
We meet on the first Wednesday of the month at 7pm, at the Senior Center, 247 Oakland Ave, Audubon (next to Audubon Library).
