We aim to keep Audubon’s traditional celebrations alive, and to find new ways to bring our community together.

Audubon Day - Saturday, April 25th 10am - 3pm (Rain date Sunday April 26th, 12pm-5pm)
Location: Francis J Ward Recreation Center and Audubon Family Park
What: A family-friendly event featuring local organizations, activities for kids, vendor and food market, and Beer Garden provided by the Audubon Fathers’ Association.
Spring Town-Wide Yard Sale - Saturday, May 16th, 8am to 2pm (Rain Date Sunday, May 17th)
Location: Homes throughout town
What: A popular day for shoppers and sellers alike, our town-wide yard sales bring in those looking for a bargain, with typically over 100 homes participating!
Independence Day Evening Celebration with Fireworks - Friday, July 3rd (time TBD)
Location: Audubon High School Football Field
What: Our town’s annual tradition of music, fireworks, food, and fun, in partnership with the Borough of Audubon.
July 4th Parade - Saturday, July 4th, beginning at 8:15am
Location: Parade route begins at E. Pine St and Amherst Aves, continues up Pine to the Highschool at Edgewood Ave, continues down Edgewood to Washington Terrace, and concludes at the Francis J Ward Recreation Center and Audubon Family Park
What: The Most Patriotic Small Town in American continues our long-standing annual 4th of July parade, bringing in spectators from beyond Audubon’s borders. Prizes are awarded for parade participants in a variety of categories, including the Bike and Baby parades!
July 4th Athletic Events - Saturday, July 4th, 10:45am
Location: Audubon High School football field
What: Join your neighbors for some fun races and activities, including the favorite Egg Toss, with ribbons awarded to the winners!
Independence Day House Decorating Contest - July
Location: Houses around town
What: Residents showing off their patriotism have an opportunity to compete for the coveted house decorating trophies.
Fall Town-Wide Yard Sale - Saturday, September 19th, 8am-2pm (Rain Date Sunday, September 20th)
Location: Homes throughout town
What: A popular day for shoppers and sellers alike, our town-wide yard sales bring in those looking for a bargain, with typically over 100 homes participating!
Halloween House Decorating Contest - Late October
Location: Houses around town
What: You’re decorating already - might as well compete for one of the coveted house decorating trophies!
Winter Holiday House Decorating Contest - Late December
Location: Houses around town
What: The last opportunity of the year to celebrate our town spirit through notable holiday displays!

Mission
The Audubon Celebration Committee (ACC) is a volunteer group of citizens with the mission of promoting community spirit. We are proud to organize Audubon Day and the 4th of July Parade, evening program, and related activities. The ACC is a 501(c)(3) organization under the umbrella of Audubon Civic REACH.
Our efforts are supported by the town-wide yard sale, various fundraising activities - but most importantly by the generous contributions made by our residents, local businesses and organizations, and generous sponsors.
We wish to thank everyone who has sent in donations and supported our events. We could not have made a memorable Audubon Day or 4th of July celebration without you!
Meetings
We meet weekly via Zoom or in person during the busy planning season, and as necessary throughout the rest of the year.

Audubon Celebration Committee (ACC) is a small group of volunteers who aim to keep some of our town’s celebration traditions alive. We bring you Audubon Day in April, and our 4th of July parade and evening celebrations, as well as two town-wide yard sales, and three house decorating competitions. We rely entirely on donations to fund our activities.
