This year’s parade theme highlights the incredible spirit of community service and the vital role of volunteerism in Audubon. It celebrates the many organizations and individuals who dedicate their time, resources, and energy to making our community a better place for all. Scheduled Events

Friday July 4th

  • 8:15 am — Independence Day Parade kicks off from Amherst Road and Harvard Ave (see parade route map below)

  • 10:45 am — Family Fun Athletic Events at Audubon High School football field

  • 12:00 pm — Open House at the Audubon Fire House, 221 W. Merchant Street.

Saturday July 5th

  • 6:00 pm — Fireworks pre-show at Audubon High School featuring live music, presentation of Parade trophies, food trucks and vendors.

  • 9:00 pm — or dusk, thereabouts : FIREWORKS!!! ☄️🎆🎇🧨🐦‍🔥

Participate!

Everyone is invited! If you are a resident of Audubon, or have a business here, this parade is for you! You can be a part of the action as easy as 1-2-3. Create a float based on this year’s theme, decorate a vehicle, get a gaggle of skateboarding friends together, bang a drum, and celebrate the existence of the town of Audubon in the United States of America.

Parade Route

The parade for 2025 will be held on Friday, July 4th.  The parade will begin at 8:15am at Amherst Road and Harvard Avenue.  It will proceed down Amherst Road, turn left onto East Pine Street, turn left onto Edgewood Avenue, past the Judges Stand, turn right onto Washington Terrace, and right onto Hampshire Avenue, finishing at the Francis J Ward Recreation Center. The entire route is 1.8 miles long.

The judges stand has been moved! It will be located at the main entrance of Audubon High School, at Pine Street and Edgewood Avenue.
