Audubon Celebration Committee invites bands to apply for the following events.
AUDUBON DAY AFTER DARK
Saturday April 27th, 6pm-10pm.
Audubon Day celebrates the residents of our town and is a great day which starts out with a vendor marketplace, beer garden, food trucks, corn hold tournament, DJ, kids games, etc. A big day for all our our townspeople and community organizations. In the evening, we have a live band perform as we continue to stuff our faces and dance, dance, dance! We are looking for a band who plays a wide variety of genres (pop, classic rock, r&b, soul) with an energetic, crowd-pleasing performance. We provide stage, lighting and PA.
Audubon 4th of July Parade
Thursday 4th of July, 8am-10am. Marching bands, mummers, drum corps, bagpipes, guitars. If you can play it and walk (or drive) two miles, then this is for you! Join our celebration and march through The Most Patriotic Small Town in America on Independence Day. All music must be suitable for all ages as the small kids of Audubon love this event! Flatbed trucks with mobile PAs are acceptable (but places are limited).
audubon independence day fireworks
Saturday July 6th, 6pm-10pm.
Our fireworks event takes place at Audubon High School. Prior to the fireworks, we have food trucks, distribution of prizes from our 4th of July parade, and a live band! We provide a stage and PA. For this event we are looking for a 3-6 piece band playing primarily rock and pop.
